Position Overview:
- Implement daily lesson plans, activities, and instructional materials left by the absent Spanish teacher, ensuring continuity of world language education and positive classroom environment.
- Conduct instruction and activities fluently in Spanish (speaking and comprehension) to provide students with an immersive language learning experience and foster student engagement.
- Accurately take attendance, track student progress during the day, and leave clear, detailed notes for the regular teacher upon the assignment's completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Pennsylvania Substitute Permit or a full Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- Demonstrated native or near-native fluency in both written and spoken Spanish
