Position Overview:

• Deliver high-impact, small-group reading interventions to students in grades K-6, focusing on phonics, fluency, and comprehension to close foundational learning gaps.
• Regularly assess student growth using standardized literacy tools to adjust instructional strategies and ensure students are meeting individualized benchmark goals.
• Partner with general education teachers and the school leadership team to align intervention strategies with core classroom instruction and broader student success plans.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification with specific endorsements in Elementary Education and Reading/Language Arts
• 1–2 years of teaching experience specifically focused on ELA instruction or literacy intervention at the elementary level
