Cross Country Education is looking for a dynamic Math Teacher to lead our 9th–12th graders through the essentials of Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calc. Position Overview: 

• Develop and facilitate engaging lessons in Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and Algebra, tailoring methods to ensure all students master core mathematical concepts.
• Administer and analyze assessment data to provide targeted feedback and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Lead targeted breakout sessions and one-on-one coaching during class time to address specific learning gaps identified through daily formative assessments.
• Engage in the school community as a proactive and collaborative member of the educational team, contributing to and maintaining a positive learning environment that fosters academic growth.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• New York City Teaching Certificate (Preferred)
  • Non-Certified candidates must hold a minimum of 12 credits in Mathematics and provide an official transcript
• 1-2 years of high school teaching experience; specific experience within high school Mathematics (Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and Algebra) (Highly Preferred)
• Prior experience within a diverse or urban school setting
