Position Overview: 

• Deliver specialized instruction to students aged 3-5, developing comprehensive lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and best practices.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for academic and social-emotional growth, adapting instruction based on student needs.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods, instructional materials, and formative/summative assessments to track student progress and inform instruction.
• Cultivate a positive and well-managed classroom environment, promoting student engagement, constructive feedback, and active family communication.

Qualifications: 

• Valid IL Professional Educator License with Special Education (LBSI) and Bilingual (BSPA) endorsements
  • Or an ELS (TBE) license with a passed TLP Spanish test 
• Possess strong proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish fluently
• Knowledge of Google Classroom applications, WIDA and Common Core State Standards, instructional best practices in language, literacy, and mathematics, and skill in facilitating IEP meetings.
