Cross Country Education is seeking passionate professionals to provide essential therapy services to students in the Bel Air, MD area! We have immediate openings with opportunities to support elementary, preschool, and specialized academy programs.
Position Overview:
- Provide speech-language services in various school-based settings, including FMLA coverage, specialized day programs, and community preschool locations.
- Design and implement communication strategies for students utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and tools.
- Maintain accurate and compliant student records, including daily notes and case management, utilizing mandated district-wide IEP and billing software.
- Deliver high-quality therapy through various models, including school-based sessions, community preschool visits, and optional Extended School Year (ESY) programs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP, SLP-CF, or SLP-A)
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience with an ability to adapt to various age groups (Early Childhood through Secondary)
- Familiarity with IEP management software and a strong working knowledge of AAC devices and strategies
