Ready to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives? Cross Country Education is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support a small caseload of K–5 students in Frisco, TX and help them reach their full potential during the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Overview: 

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students in a Functional Academics classroom.
• Support a caseload of approximately 9 students, with paraeducator support.
• Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to promote academic, behavioral, and functional growth.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to support student success and ensure appropriate accommodations.
• Maintain documentation, support IEP processes, and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
• Valid Texas ESL Supplemental Certification
• Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
• Handle with Care, CPI, or similar crisis prevention/de-escalation training (or willingness to complete training)
