Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Resource) to join our team in empowering middle and high school students in a high-achieving school community through the end of the 2025-2026 school year!
Position Overview:
- Deliver specialized, small-group instruction in core content areas, with a specific emphasis on supporting students in Math and Science for grades 6-12.
- Oversee a dedicated caseload, ensuring all IEP documentation, service logs, and progress reports are meticulously maintained and compliant.
- Develop and implement modified lesson plans that align with core middle and high school curricula while meeting individual student learning goals.
- Partner with the Special Education and general education team to ensure seamless service delivery and student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Special Education and Content Area/Generalist Certification (Grades 6-12)
- Active Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in secondary core academic subjects, Math/Science experience (Highly Preferred)
