Position Overview: 

  • Provide differentiated instruction and direct academic support in core subjects for elementary students (K-5) in settings ranging from small resource groups to 1:1 support or a self-contained classroom.
  • Manage a caseload that includes students with diverse needs, such as learning disabilities, cognitive, or behavioral challenges, utilizing paraprofessional support as necessary.
  • Execute all facets of case management, including developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), documenting service delivery and progress, and conducting required reviews.
  • Partner with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and the larger Special Education team to ensure a cohesive and effective educational environment.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Texas Special Education EC-12 Certification
  • Valid Texas Core Subjects EC-6 (or K-5 Generalist equivalent)
