Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to make a real impact in a supportive school environment in Bridgeport, CT. Join our team of Special Education Teachers for the '25-'26 school year and help students with diverse learning needs.
Position Overview:
- Lead the development and implementation of IEPs tailored to students' unique learning needs.
- Provide direct instruction and use various teaching techniques to achieve students' academic and developmental goals.
- Regularly assess, record, and monitor students' progress, adapting the curriculum and instructional strategies as needed for student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Connecticut Certification in Special Education (Preferred)
- Candidates In the Process of obtaining the Special Education Certification will be considered
- 3 years of preferred experience as a Special Education Teacher
