Position Overview: 
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide individual and group counseling to K-12 students to support their academic, social, behavioral, and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to develop and implement individualized intervention plans (including IEPs), provide crisis intervention, and assist with behavior management strategies.

Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology (Required)
    • Including specific coursework and 60+ graduate semester hours
  • Completion of a 1,200-hour (10-school month) internship (Required) 
  • Connecticut Initial Educator Certificate for School Psychology or the National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential or through enhanced reciprocity for Out-of-State certified educators
