Position Overview:
- Conduct comprehensive student and classroom observations to assist in the development of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide targeted professional development to teachers and support staff through individual consultations, classroom-based guidance, and whole-group training sessions.
- Partner with school-based teams to ensure behavioral strategies are implemented with fidelity to improve student outcomes and classroom climate.
- Maintain consistent support and documentation for an assigned student caseload, ensuring seamless continuity of care during a specified leave period.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification (Required)
- Prior experience as a Behavior Specialist or Behavior Analyst (Preferred)
- Ready for an immediate start and comfortable with assignments that may evolve in duration
