Position Overview: 

  • Caseload average of 20 students
  • Serve as the Special Education Teacher for high-risk students (Grades K-8th), tailoring lessons and materials for diverse learning styles.
  • Create and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student needs.
  • Engage with high-truancy students to encourage their return to school, understanding barriers such as poverty and family insecurity to help students succeed.

Qualifications: 

  • OH Special Education Teacher License 
  • Previous experience in Special Education (Preferred)
