Position Overview:

• Design and facilitate engaging art lessons for 6th-grade students, fostering both technical skill and creative expression.
• Monitor progress through regular grading and real-time feedback, using high-energy techniques to keep students motivated.
• Maintain an organized, inspiring environment by taking initiative in daily operations and classroom prep.
• Participate in daily team huddles and departmental meetings to align on school culture and student data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Valid New York State Teaching Certification (Preferred)
  • Non-certified Candidates: Must have a minimum of 12 credits in Fine Arts or Art Educations (Transcript required)
• 1–2 years of teaching experience in the subject area (Highly Preferred)
