Position Overview:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring documents and goals are tailored to maximize student potential and success.
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated direct instruction utilizing diverse, evidence-based teaching techniques to advance both academic and developmental milestones.
  • Implement data-driven assessment cycles to consistently monitor and document student progress, proactively adjusting curriculum and instructional strategies to ensure continuous growth.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
  • Connecticut Certification in Special Education (Preferred)
    • Candidates In the Process of obtaining the Special Education Certification will be considered
  • 3 years of preferred experience as a Special Education Teacher
