Ready to find the perfect balance of meaningful impact and a manageable workload? Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in Bellwood, IL during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview:
- Provide on-site speech and language therapy for an elementary caseload, supporting students with articulation, phonology, fluency, and expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language needs.
- Work directly within a 3rd-grade cross-categorical instructional classroom to deliver small-group or individualized communication support tailored to students with higher needs.
- Provide daily Tiered interventions and data-tracking for a small group of general education students undergoing the RTI/MTSS support process.
- Manage a focused caseload of 5–10 speech-only students while coordinating documentation, compliance, and communication with school teams and families.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (IDFPR)
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (ISBE PEL)
- Prior school-based experience preferred, with the ability to independently manage an elementary caseload
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus!
