Position Overview:
- The Sign Language Interpreter will provide in-person 1:1 support to a single elementary student.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and special education team to implement the student's individualized education program (IEP).
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment, and adapt strategies to meet the student's evolving needs.
Qualifications:
- EIPA Score of 3.5 or greater or Possess a National Certification for Sign Language Interpreting
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) (Required)
- Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in a school setting is a plus
