Position Overview: 

• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans for AP Chemistry and general Chemistry, ensuring students are fully prepared for end-of-year exams.
• Lead classroom instruction for grades 6-12; administer and analyze assessment data to provide targeted feedback and adapt methods to meet diverse needs.
• Engage in the school community as a proactive member of the educational team, contributing to a positive and professional learning environment.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• New York City Teaching Certificate (Preferred)
  • Non-Certified candidates must hold a minimum of 12 credits in Chemistry and provide an official transcript
• 1–2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry (Required)
• Strong knowledge of AP Chemistry curriculum and a proven ability to prepare students for college-level testing
