Are you a School Psychologist passionate about helping students succeed? Cross Country Education invites you to bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to Bridgeport, CT for the '25 to '26 school year!

Position Overview: 
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for K-12 students to determine special education eligibility and inform data-driven interventions.
  • Provide direct consultation and training to staff and families for the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) interventions and strategies.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (PBIPs), and provide immediate crisis intervention services, including risk assessments on assigned campuses.

Qualifications: 

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology (Required)
    • Must include specific coursework and 60+ graduate semester hours and completion of a 1,200-hour (10-school month) internship
  • Valid Connecticut Initial Educator Certificate for School Psychology
    • Alternatively: Candidates holding the National Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential are welcome to apply for CT certification through enhanced reciprocity
