Position Overview: 

  • Assist lead teachers with lesson plans, providing targeted help to individuals or small groups in both General Education and Special Education classrooms.
  • Maintain a safe environment by reinforcing positive behavior and keeping students engaged.
  • Help students with diverse needs navigate their schedules and access necessary learning tools.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to observe performance and document progress toward academic or IEP goals.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s Degree, 60+ college credits, or a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment
  • Must hold (or be eligible for) a valid Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, student-centered approach
