Position Overview:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in grades 6-8, utilizing data collection to monitor progress and adjust instruction effectively.
- Provide direct, specialized instruction within the STARS program for a mixed-grade class of up to 12 students with diverse learning needs.
- Directly manage, coordinate, and collaborate with Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals to maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Connecticut State Teaching Certification (165) in Special Education
- Prior experience with IEP data collection, development, and implementation (Required)
