Are you a Special Education Teacher with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential? Cross Country Education is seeking two Special Education Teachers to join our team in Detroit, MI for the '25-'26 School Year!
Position Overview:
- K-8 Special Education Teacher
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide specialized instruction, and monitor student progress.
- Implement evidence-based instructional decisions focused on student-centered goals and academic growth.
- High School Special Education Teacher
- Develop and implement IEPs focusing on academic achievement and functional / vocational skills to prepare students for post-secondary success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- MI Special Education Certification (Required)
- Prior experience in a school setting (Preferred)
- Full-time schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with staff meetings on Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 5:40 PM
