Position Overview:
- Develop and execute individualized, play-based curricula and IEPs tailored specifically for preschool-aged children (3-5 years old) to meet their unique developmental and educational milestones.
- Design and maintain an engaging, nurturing, and age-appropriate learning environment that actively promotes early communication, social-emotional competence, and essential school readiness skills.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary support teams to ensure cohesive service delivery and monitor continuous progress across all developmental domains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Michigan Professional Teaching Certificate with the mandated endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) or an equivalent endorsement for preschool (Required)
- Prior experience working with the developmental and learning needs of preschool-aged children in a special education (Preferred)
