Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an opportunity as an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Specialist to join a collaborative, multi-district team supporting diverse school communities across Yamhill, Polk, and Marion counties!

Position Overview: 

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations using specialized rating tools, observations, and interview-based methods to determine individual learning styles and needs.
• Provide educational teams with tailored resources, materials, and evidence-based strategies to address the unique learning and life needs of students on the spectrum.
• Deliver direct services to students as a means of modeling and instructing school staff on how to effectively implement specialized programs and behavioral interventions.
• Partner with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to develop and integrate customized treatment plans that foster social, communication, and daily living skills.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) Special Education License
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior experience in behavioral interventions (such as ABA techniques) and the ability to conduct assessments for students across various age ranges
