Position Overview:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for students in grades K-12 to determine eligibility for special education services and inform the development of appropriate individualized programs.
- Provide direct and consultative services, including related services counseling, for a diverse caseload to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Consult with parents and staff to interpret assessment data, foster a shared understanding of student needs, and collaboratively design effective Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and service delivery models.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in School Psychology or equivalent specialist-level degree (Required)
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate issued by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) (Required)
- Minimum of 1 year of school counseling or school psychologist experience, with a focus on serving students from diverse and limited-resource backgrounds
