Cross Country Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the highly-regarded Ellicott City, MD area for the '25–'26 school year. This is a rare chance to lead services for high school students four days a week, while also gaining specialized experience providing specialized AAC support at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore!

Position Overview: 

• Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication services, including assessment and direct therapy, to a caseload of high school students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring all services and documentation meet district and state requirements.
• Collaborate with high school staff, parents, and related service providers to support students' communication needs and academic success within the secondary school curriculum.
• Special Assignment: Provide dedicated AAC-focused support (45 min/week) to a single student at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore City, receiving dedicated time for travel and planning (2.0 hours/week total).

Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Valid Maryland State Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Prior experience providing assessment and therapy services to high school-aged students (Strongly Preferred)
• Prior experience and comfort in utilizing and supporting students with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems (Required)
