Position Overview:
- Provide universal support to foster resilience, pro-social behaviors, and prevent mental/behavioral health disorders and youth violence among K-12 school-aged students.
- Increase the availability of sustainable, culturally competent, and developmentally appropriate school-based mental health programs focused on early screening and intervention to provide ongoing support to students.
- Identify students in emotional distress, provide direct support (including active listening and de-escalation), and facilitate referrals to appropriate school-based, community-based, or crisis services.
Qualifications:
- CA Associate Marriage and Family Therapist License
- Minimum one year relevant School-Based experience
