We are seeking a morning-block interventionist for the '25–'26 school year to help bridge the gap between reading challenges and student success—perfect for those passionate about multisensory literacy!
Position Overview:
- Deliver 1:2 direct instructional support during the specialized morning block (8:15 AM – 10:15 AM).
- Implement pre-designed, intensive reading plans utilizing Orton-Gillingham (OG) or comparable multisensory strategies.
- Work specifically with middle school students to bridge literacy gaps and achieve specialized IEP reading goals.
- Partner with the Lead Special Education Teacher to track progress and maintain a structured, high-engagement learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
- Orton-Gillingham (OG) certification/training or significant experience in structured literacy (Highly Preferred)
