Cross Country Education is seeking several dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join an exciting summer school program in the Greater Grayslake, IL area. This is your chance to help students thrive and prepare for the upcoming semester, all while enjoying the convenience of a 4-day part-time schedule to make the most of the season!
Position Overview:
- Provide speech and language services to a diverse student population (Early Childhood through 12th Grade) during a focused summer program.
- Partner with the summer academic team to integrate communication goals into the student's daily routine, ensuring full access to the summer curriculum.
- Tailor interventions to meet the needs of an undetermined program type, focusing on maintaining student progress in a low-caseload environment.
- Manage all end-of-session reporting and documentation, with extended hours provided on the first and last days of the program to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a school-based endorsement
- Prior experience working with a wide age range of students (EC–12th Grade) in an educational or pediatric setting
