Are you a fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CO) seeking a mid-year contract opportunity? Cross Country Education is hiring a dedicated SLP to bring their expertise to a supportive educational environment in the Denver-Thornton, CO area to help K-8 students thrive from December 2025 through May 2026!

Position Overview:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 37 K-8th grade students with a range of needs, including mild/moderate and moderate-to-severe disabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility and needs.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based, data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate speech and language goals into the general education curriculum and student support services.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)
  • Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Out-of-Field (SLP-CO) Authorization or License
  • Experience providing speech and language services to a K-8th grade caseload, ideally including students with varying severity levels
