Position Overview: 

• Support students in K-12 with varying levels of ability with a variety of classroom structures
• Multiple positions available

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide IEP mandated instruction to students in a highly structured and supported classroom environment
• Have the ability to develop and implement instructional and behavioral management strategies for special needs students 
• Ability to teach several academic areas and administer and interpret a variety of academic and related assessment instruments pertaining to special education 

Qualifications: 

• CT Certification #165 Required
• Must have IEP Data Collection Knowledge
• Working knowledge or IEP Direct
• Experience with Special Education is preferred
• Current Physical Management Training (PMT) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training
