Cross Country Education is looking for passionate Special Education Paraprofessionals with a passion to support students achieve their full potential in Watsonville, CA for the '24-'25 school year. 

Position Overview: 

• Support students in grades PK-8th

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide direct support to Special Education students under the direction of the Director of Student Services, Coordinator of Student Services, Principal, Teacher, Education Specialist, and/or Full Inclusion Coach
• Implement behavioral and instructional methodologies to address the needs of students demonstrating learning or behavioral challenges
• Work with students with different abilities (mild to extensive needs) within the General education classroom
• Support the academic and behavioral needs of students
• Accommodate specific student needs through the implementation of specialized learning activities and linguistically appropriate goals and objectives
• Provide instructional support and interventions during and after school in a variety of settings, including the general education classrooms and other school settings as assigned

Qualifications: 

• AA degree and High School Diploma or GED
• or Pass the Paraprofessional exam
• Prior experience with Special Education is preferred
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures with the field

Pay and Benefits: 

• $27.00-$27.50 per hour
• Weekly Pay: Weekly direct deposit
