Are you a dedicated Math Teacher seeking to help students thrive? Cross Country Education is seeking a Math Teacher to join our team in Bridgeport, CT for the '25 to '26 school year!
Position Overview:- Deliver comprehensive instruction for 7th and 8th grade mathematics, emphasizing the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans and assessments that effectively measure student proficiency and progress.
- Manage all aspects of classroom instruction, including creating differentiated lesson plans, evaluating student assignments, and utilizing data to inform and adjust teaching strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Connecticut Teaching Certification with appropriate Math endorsement (Preferred)
- Non-certified Teachers - Must have a minimum of 12 credits in mathematics and provide a copy of their college transcript
- 1-2 years of teaching experience in subject area, preferably to grades 6-12
