Position Overview

• Provide skilled nursing care and health support to students in elementary and intermediate school settings, responding to individual medical needs throughout the school day.
• Monitor students’ health conditions, administer medications and treatments as directed, and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
• Support students with pediatric and pediatric diabetes-related needs, while maintaining accurate documentation and following established care plans and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student health, safety, and well-being.

Qualifications 

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Valid New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Certification
• Pediatric and pediatric diabetes knowledge required, experience caring for school-age children preferred
