Join our team as a School Nurse and play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and academic success of young learners. Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing services for early childhood students throughout the school year in Newark, NJ.
Position Overview:
- Provide comprehensive nursing services, including health assessments, screenings, and ongoing monitoring of student health needs.
- Maintain student health records, monitor immunization and physical examination compliance, and develop Individualized Health Care Plans (IHCPs).
- Collaborate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and address student health concerns.
- Support health documentation and student records while ensuring compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications
- School-based experience preferred
