Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to help students achieve their full potential? Cross Country Education is seeking a Health Service Nurse (RN) for a challenging and rewarding itinerant position in Chicago, IL for the '25-'26 school year!
Position Overview:
- Coordinate and manage the school health program across a multi-site assignment, serving as the central health resource and point of contact for students, staff, and district administrators.
- Provide direct healthcare services, including first aid, emergency care, medication administration, services outlined in IEPs and 504 plans, counseling, and health education.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings, providing referrals and follow-up care for a wide range of student needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Required)
- Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse Endorsement
- Ability to travel frequently between assigned school campuses (Required)
- Experience in school nursing and working in a city school district
