Position Overview:
- Lead the implementation of Individualized Education Programs and Behavior Intervention Plans, adapting curriculum for the Least Restrictive Environment.
- Evaluate student needs to develop goals and instructional strategies tailored to the Elementary level.
- Partner with general education teachers and families to facilitate smooth transitions into inclusive environments.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of student growth and provide transparent communication regarding milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe) (Required)
- Active English Learner (EL) Certification or equivalent endorsement (Required)
- Prior experience implementing special education best practices within a team-based school environment
