Position Overview: 

• Lead the implementation of Individualized Education Programs and Behavior Intervention Plans, adapting curriculum for the Least Restrictive Environment.
• Evaluate student needs to develop goals and instructional strategies tailored to the Elementary level.
• Partner with general education teachers and families to facilitate smooth transitions into inclusive environments.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of student growth and provide transparent communication regarding milestones.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe) (Required)
• Active English Learner (EL) Certification or equivalent endorsement (Required)
• Prior experience implementing special education best practices within a team-based school environment
