Position Overview: 

• Provide specialized academic instruction using a multi-modal collaborative model (co-teaching, direct instruction, and pull-out services) with lesson plans aligned to Common Core State Standards.
• Lead the development and management of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducting assessments and tracking goal progress with high fidelity to ensure mandated accommodations are met.
• Partner with general education teachers and para-educators to implement inclusive learning environments and provide guidance on data collection across educational settings.
• Lead IEP meetings and maintain consistent, caring communication with parents, families, and partner agencies to support student well-being.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate)
• Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) authorization or equivalent English Learner Certification (Required)
• Prior experience in special education (Highly Preferred)
