Cross Country Education is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team and partner with top-tier educators in a supportive environment for 6th and 8th-grade students. Make a lasting impact on middle school learners and drive student success for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year!
Position Overview:
- RISE program which is a life skills program in which our students receive core instruction and also participate in electives and in some content classes in the least restrictive environment based on their IEPs. We have paraprofessionals who support the program and students receive related services as noted in their IEP.
- Planning and providing specialized instruction to identified students in the RISE program according to IEPs, case management of students and IEPs to include annual reviews, 3-year evaluations, participating in PPTs, progress monitoring, etc..
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- CT Certification 165, OR 065, OR 265 - Required
- Data Collection Knowledge or IEP Direct experience- Required
- Training in and experience with implementing a behavior support program (preferred)
