Cross Country Education is looking for a dedicated and adaptive SPED educator to step into a vital long-term role to ensure students with diverse learning needs have the stability and guidance they need to finish the 2025–2026 school year strong.
Position Overview:
- Facilitate specialized instruction and manage a fluid caseload of 10–15 secondary students with diverse needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Language Impairments.
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring all modifications and accommodations are met.
- Maintain essential instructional consistency and personalized support for a high school caseload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification (or immediate eligibility for Maryland reciprocity)
- Prior experience with middle or high school-aged students across various disability categories, specifically OHI and Autism
