Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher seeking to help students thrive? Join Cross Country Education's team as a Special Education Teacher in a small, therapeutic school in Rowley, MA overlooking Plum Island, where students and staff enjoy a close-knit, supportive community for the '25-'26 school year!

Position Overview: 
  • Manage a small caseload of approximately 8:1 middle/high school students with existing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), focusing primarily on social and emotional learning goals.
  • Develop, adapt, and deliver specialized instruction and services to students (grades 7-12) within a therapeutic, supportive school setting.
  • Collaborate with the small team to monitor student progress, contribute to the seven-week summer program, and participate in a community-focused environment (e.g., shared staff/student meals).

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
    • Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Active Massachusetts licensure in Special Education: Teacher of Students with Mild/Moderate Disabilities (K-8 or 5-12)
  • Experience working with middle and high school students, preferably those with social/emotional IEP goals (non-behavioral focus)
