Position Overview: 

• Assess student needs and develop individualized learning plans, goals, and instructional strategies tailored to the Elementary level.
• Lead the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), adapting curriculum to ensure student success in the Least Restrictive Environment.
• Partner with general education teachers, school administrators, and families to support student inclusion and facilitate smooth transitions into inclusive classroom environments.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of student growth and provide consistent, transparent communication to families regarding academic and behavioral milestones.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe) (Required)
• Active English Learner (EL) Certification or equivalent endorsement (Required)
• Prior experience implementing special education best practices within a team-based school environment
