Do you have the nursing expertise and adaptability to change student lives daily? Join our team as a dynamic Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Floater! Cross Country Education needs confident professionals ready to leverage their skills in specialized care across the district in Montebello, CA.
Position Overview:
- Provide nursing coverage across K-12 school sites, adapting quickly to assignment changes such as Health Office support or 1:1 student care.
- Deliver essential support for students with complex health needs, including G-tube feeding, diabetic management, seizure protocols, and Tracheostomy care.
- Ensure student safety by providing medical supervision during bus routes, with shifts potentially starting as early as 6:45 AM or ending as late as 4:00 PM.
- Move between school locations as needed to meet student needs (mileage is reimbursed).
Qualifications:
- Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse License
- Valid Driver's License
- Extensive experience with Trach care, G-tube feedings, and diabetic management
- Ability to thrive in a role where assignments and locations may change on short notice
- Prior experience as a floater Licensed Vocational Nurse or in a similar role (Preferred)
