Position Overview:

• Provide nursing coverage across K-12 school sites, adapting quickly to assignment changes such as Health Office support or 1:1 student care.
• Deliver essential support for students with complex health needs, including G-tube feeding, diabetic management, seizure protocols, and Tracheostomy care.
• Ensure student safety by providing medical supervision during bus routes, with shifts potentially starting as early as 6:45 AM or ending as late as 4:00 PM.
• Move between school locations as needed to meet student needs (mileage is reimbursed).

Qualifications: 

• Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse  License
• Valid Driver's License
• Extensive experience with Trach care, G-tube feedings, and diabetic management
• Ability to thrive in a role where assignments and locations may change on short notice
• Prior experience as a floater Licensed Vocational Nurse or in a similar role (Preferred)
