Position Overview:
- Lead a self-contained classroom as the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Teacher, delivering specialized, differentiated instruction to students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Develop, implement, and monitor data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) designed to foster significant academic progress and critical social-emotional/behavioral growth.
- Integrate evidence-based strategies to effectively teach both core academic subjects and essential functional life skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Florida Professional Educator's Certificate with an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) K-12 endorsement (Required)
- Prior experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum in a specialized ESE setting
- Experience or familiarity with integration strategies across both ESE and General Education settings (Preferred)
