Position Overview: 

  • Provide comprehensive social-emotional support and evidence-based interventions to ensure a consistent environment for student growth.
  • Manage a diverse caseload by implementing individualized support plans, facilitating IEP meetings, and advocating for student needs.
  • Deliver immediate support during crisis situations and develop proactive programs to foster a safe, inclusive learning culture.
  • Bilingual Role: Serve as a primary bridge between the school and Spanish-speaking families to ensure equitable access to resources.

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for designated bilingual placements
  • Strong interpersonal skills for a multidisciplinary team environment
