Position Overview:- Lead co-taught ELA classes and provide "push-in" inclusion support, utilizing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to ensure all students access the general curriculum.
- Design and deliver specialized intervention classes tailored to bridge achievement gaps for middle school learners.
- Manage 7th and 8th-grade IEPs, ensuring goal tracking, progress reporting, and annual meetings are facilitated with accuracy.
- Partner with general education staff to modify assignments and implement accommodations that foster a truly inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Master's Degree (Preferred)
- Active Massachusetts Special Education License (Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-8 or 5-12)
- Proven expertise in ELA instruction or co-teaching models with a strong understanding of the IEP process and inclusive classroom management
