Position Overview:

• Provide 1:1 care for a high school student, focusing on seizure monitoring and ensuring both physical and emotional comfort throughout the school day.
• Partner with the Lead Teacher to integrate health needs into the student's daily academic routine and school activities.
• Oversee the maintenance of specialized medical equipment and supplies while keeping accurate logs of student health status and interventions.

Qualifications: 

• Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Valid Driver's License
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs
• Prior experience within a classroom setting and a passion for supporting student independence in an educational environment
