Position Overview:

  • Provide specialized instruction to a small caseload of three 4th-grade students within a self-contained behavioral setting.
  • Deliver K-5 core academic content while implementing robust behavior intervention strategies and overseeing paraprofessional support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, track progress toward IEP goals, and lead collaboration with the Special Education team.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Valid Texas Special Education Certification (K-5/EC-12)
  • Valid Texas Generalist Certification (K-5/EC-6)
  • Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
  • Proven experience managing students with significant behavioral needs
