Position Overview: 

• Provide specialized instruction and inclusion support for students in grades 6–12 with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies to promote academic and behavioral growth.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure student accommodations and success.
• Maintain documentation, support IEP processes, and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Texas Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement
• Valid Texas ESL Supplemental Certification
• Valid Texas Fingerprint Clearance Card (FAST)
• Handle with Care, CPI, or similar crisis prevention/de-escalation training (or willingness to complete training)
• Experience supporting K–12 students with behavioral needs
