Position Overview: 

• Dietitian for Head start program
• Implementation of food allergies/intolerances, special diets, and meal accommodations
• Review Head Start/Early Head Start health and nutrition files and documents, perform nutrition assessments, provide nutrition counseling and education, provide nutrition trainings to program parents and staff.
• Coordinate meal planning with food services and district staff, conduct classroom meal service observations, collect information for nutrition service reports.

Qualifications: 

• Current certification by the Commission of Dietetic Registration
• At least one-year clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
