Cross Country Education is looking for two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) passionate about empowering students with diverse needs and seeing real breakthroughs to join our elite team within a premier program in South Holland, IL, for the '25 – '26 school year!

Position Overview: 

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for a diverse caseload ranging from Early Childhood through Transition age, specifically supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on verbal and non-verbal communication, social pragmatics, and sensory regulation to enhance academic and functional progress.
  • Partner with the Adaptive Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) team to integrate speech-language goals into daily classroom routines and social interaction activities.
  • Collect and analyze data to track student development, ensuring all services align with IEP goals and state educational standards.

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  • Prior experience working with Early Childhood populations and students with significant social-communication or sensory processing needs
  • Proficiency in implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies and supporting students with varied intellectual and adaptive profiles
